4.1 TRANSFER TO BONFIRE AG & ZERMATT TOURISM
The booking data of our guests are automatically forwarded to Bonfire AG and Zermatt Tourism. These data are processed there for statistical purposes.
- Your booking data is recorded in a central database by Bonfire AG and/or Zermatt Tourism
- On this basis, Zermatt Tourism will settle the outstanding visitor's tax and collect it from the service partners
- Zermatt Tourism also reports to the Swiss Federal Statistical Office
- Bonfire AG and Zermatt Tourism grant the police access to the database with booking data, so that the police can retrieve the relevant booking data, for example in the case of missing persons
- Zermatt Tourism uses the booking data to collect statistics (in particular regarding occupancy, length of stay, number of arrivals, etc.)
We aim to provide you with a service in Bern and Zurich equal in excellence to that in Interlaken or Crans-Montana. To achieve this goal, we have built up a global network of subsidiaries, data-processing centers, trusted strategic marketing partners, service providers, customer service centers and skilled personnel throughout the world. Because of the type of business we are and do, we are required to pass on your personal data to other groups of companies, subsidiaries, locations, data-processing centers or service providers that might not be based in your home country. It is possible that we will transmit your personal data to countries other that that from which the data was originally collected.
